New Mother India has the freshest selection of Indian food anywhere in the US. All of your meats and vegetables are top notch. Your curry is one of the best in Boston the area - and you guys are not afraid to REALLY turn up the heat! You have a great selection of nan's (and your chef is always willing to make us something that isn't on the menu). Your selection of beers is very good also. The Tremont Ale on draft is my favorite.

The best Tandoori chicken I've ever had! Dishes are spiced to please the most particular taste buds. The atmosphere is great -- a quiet dinner with wonderful staff. I am so happy I live in the New Mother India's neighborhood.

The buffet on Saturday was absolutely delicious! I especially liked the Tandoori Chicken and all the choices of bread; it let me experiment with a kind of food I'm not all that familiar with.

We brought two friends to dinner there on Saturday. We always love the food but they had never tried it. They loved it too and now they are hooked too. We ordered Chicken Masala, Chicken Royal, Malai Kofta and Benga Bartha. MMMMMMM we also enjoyed our wonderful leftovers! Keep up the good work!

The restaurant has very Indian decoration and art peices and very authentic. Service is not so good but not bad - water is served only after order is made, U do not get attention from servers after order is served. Otherwise waiters are pleasent, patient and nice. Food is excellent - I have almost been to most restaurants in boston and suburbs. I generally never get satisfied with food, as I am from India and I can cook the same food. Still, I liked the food and went back again and again. Food is excellent, real Indian style and has consistency in taste!! Definetly nice place to spend a romantic evening or nice dinner party. Afternoon Buffet is good but not much selection - u will be surpirsed not to see desert in lunch!! I would recommend to go here and order from menu instead of buffet. At the end do not forget to get the taste of indian spices selection at the exit - Very high quality and well managed. Cost is medium($$) as in all indian restaurants. I would say *** for service, **** for food, and ***** for decor. This is definetly my pick among moody street indian restaurants.

I had dinner at New Mother India for the first time about a month ago and was shocked by your great beer selection. Not many restaurants understand that good beer pairs so well with food - even more so than with wine. And the selection of flavorful British, American, and Belgian beers just shows that you know that there is more to beer than just Bud, Miller, and Coors. The Duvel that I had was just a great complement to Indian food and the appropriate glassware just made it even more special. Keep up the good work.

We have been to all of the Indian cuisine restaurants on Moody St and NMI has them all beat hands down. Great food, service and atmosphere. A nice place to go to enjoy a quiet dinner at reasonable prices. The garlic nan is outstanding and the Chicken Vindaloo is a spice lovers dream. The Saag Paneer melts in your mouth. Worth returning to again and again.

Excellent Navaratan Kurma. Because of New Mother India, it is now my favorite dish every time I eat Indian Food.

My boyfriend and I decided to try eating here after seeing the restaurant showcased on Chronicle. The first time we ate there we ordered our favorite Indian dishes and all were fabulous. Last time we tried the Vegetarian dinner for two and it was fantastic! My boyfriend is still raving about how fresh everything was and I loved the Vegetarian Sizzler, it's a must have. On the way out we had a nice conversation with the owners and learned why fennel seeds are offered after a meal. We are destined to be regulars!

I get the Gosht here everytime and it's excellent! The take out service is well-packaged and convenient. Even after the 15 minute drive home, the food is still hot and delicious!

the chicken shahi korma and the malai kofta was impeccable! naan was fluffy and light and samosas were crunchy and fresh. also, the service was very friendly and timely. new mother india is definitely my favorite indian restaurant in the boston area!!!

I enjoyed everything about my meal. The tandoori bread was wonderful. My meal (vegetable biryani) was cooked exactly as I asked and it had the perfect blend of spices. I truly enjoyed every bite!

i've never been to this restaurent so i have no commnets..i just read everyone else's and wanted to add mine too...i hope to go there one day ...hope it's great..!!!
